Moritz Münst

Moritz is a Senior Data Scientist and Team-Lead at b.telligent, focusing his consulting work on data efficient modelling, time series data and neural networks. Before joining b.telligent 3.5 years ago, he was working on the localization and the grasping stack of Magazino’s perception driven robots. Since 2016 he holds a M.Sc. degree from TUM (Munich) in Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence. After work he is trying to reverse engineer the radio protocol of his central heating.

Michael and Moritz will talk about the application of representation learning specifically for anomaly detection in time series data. The focus will be on on early detection of damages in large gearboxes, used, e.g., in cement mills. We will highlight the business context, methodology used, and present results of a PoC implementation.
